    Blind Installer - is responsible for installing in home blinds, including aluminum, wood, and shades. 


    • Measures windows and installs blinds for residential customers
    • Responsible for loading and logging materials onto truck and makes notation of returned materials per each job order
    • Provides good customer service skills and address any questions per the customer
    • Erects ladders to height needed to install blinds as needed in the home
    • Observe job site safety rules and know the location of the MSDS packets in your vehicle
    • Responsible to comply with OSHA guidelines and Company Safety policies and procedures
    • Maintain tools and truck housekeeping, and maintenance
    • Responsible for completing time card daily and ensuring it is submitted on time
    • May be required to drive a company vehicle and follow all driving safety rules and DOT requirements at all times
    • Responsible for completing paperwork per each job and returning to production coordinator daily
    • Other duties as assigned



    • High School diploma or GED preferred
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • 0-5 years’ experience in construction industry, completing remodels or finish work with in a home
    • Proficient in using hand tools and power tools, including tape measure, laser level, and drill
    • Able to climb up and down a ladder
    • Excellent attention to detail
    • Able to perform basic math skills and read a tape measure
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Professional appearance and demeanor
    • Able to work independently and or with a crew
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Must have a valid driver’s license to drive a company vehicle


    Position requires a Drug Test and Motor Vehicle Report and Background Check (if applicable) to be completed, contingent upon employment.

    Physical Demands

    • Must be able to read job instructions and record materials to work order. 
    • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. Must be able to climb ladders.
    • Must be able to bend, twist and turn body at shoulders, waist and knees to handle and install blinds.
    • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.

    Work Environment

    • Works within a residential home or new construction environment; able to adapt to weather conditions.
