  • Position Description

    We are searching for a Contract Specialist to join our team in Tampa, Florida. Become a part of a growing company with the opportunities to learn new skills and build your career with IBP! The Contract Specialist performs contract review, revision and negotiation under the supervision and direction of Risk Department Legal Counsel.


    • Draft, evaluate and negotiate contracts based on an existing contract strategy.
    • Analyze and report on specific risks associated with contracts.
    • Provide contract related issue resolution.
    • Manage record keeping for all contract-related correspondence and documentation.
    • Communicate with branch representatives, vendors, prime contractors and insurance professionals.
    • Other duties as assigned.


    • Paralegal education and/or experience preferred.
    • Prior experience/knowledge of construction contracts is preferred.
    • Negotiation skills.
    • Experience with Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
    • Experience with Adobe Acrobat or other PDF management/processing software.
    • Minimum 1 year of experience in an office setting.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and communicate effectively.
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
    • Customer service experience preferred.


    *Position requires a Drug Test and Motor Vehicle Report to be completed, contingent upon employment.
