    Assistant Branch Manager - Plan and lead all financial and operational functions within an assigned stand-alone operating branch with sales over $5 million.  Provide leadership to craft an environment that promotes safety, teamwork, continuous improvement, learning, high customer satisfaction (NPS), and high standards of service.  Utilize human resources effectively to increase business, manage workload and job costs, achieve production and margin objectives and provide quality services to customers and contractors.  Full P&L responsibility.


    • Review and promote the maintenance of a safe, accident free, and healthy work environment. Support safety policies that ensure that all employees go home in as good as condition as when they arrived for work.
    • Resolve customer issues and complaints to ensure customer satisfaction. Improve NPS scores.
    • Responsible for the overall company operations of a division.
    • Oversee and develop the division staff, which includes the full employee life cycle, set work priorities, conduct staff meetings, counsel and train employees to promote positive employee engagement. 
    • Ensure staffing needs are met, evaluate performance and direct work assignments to maintain effective operations.
    • Lead daily division operations to ensure that proper procedures and guidelines are in place and followed for provision of quality installations and services. Use internal audit as a guide.
    • Develop and implement operational plans to achieve profit and growth goals in designated market areas and handle operations budget to accomplish objectives.
    • Retain control over departmental expenditures.
    • Develop forecasts for sales growth, market mix, and profitability.
    • Stay current on changes within regulatory, economic, and competitive environment which may affect the operations of the division.
    • Assist in the maintenance and monitoring of internal controls, policies, and procedures for operational areas. Respond promptly to all Branch, Support Group requests.
    • Plan utilization of space and facilities consistent with requirements of organizational efficiency.
    • Promote and monitor equipment and property protection security measures.
    • Establish and review pricing structures and labor rates for all departments.
    • Negotiate programs, pricing and terms with vendors providing key materials and services.
    • Minimize legal liability.
    • Participate in collection activities.
    • Review division reports as well as other financial records such as payroll, accounts receivable, and accounts payable. Review reports with management.
    • Lead salesperson with key accounts.
    • Establish performance goals and objectives for sales manager.
    • Implement all safety and company rules and regulations in the performance of duties.
    • Other duties as assigned.


    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) equivalent is required with 5 - 10 years of experience in service operations management with full profit and loss responsibilities. Related experience and /or advancing training or any equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted. 
    • A Bachelor’s degree in business management is preferred.
    • Deep understanding of the construction industry with a focus in insulation
    • Possess working knowledge of local codes and general industry standards.
    • 5 years’ experience leading people
    • Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills
    • Detail Oriented
    • Proficient with Microsoft office programs including, Outlook, word, excel and power-point
    • Basic Math Skills


    Position requires a drug test, background check and motor vehicle report be completed, pending an offer of employment.
