    The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for Installed Building Products. This position requires someone with a professional appearance, strong computer background, general office experience, friendly demeanor and great Customer Service skills. The qualified candidate will be reliable, flexible, organized, punctual, professional, a quick learner, and a team player.


    Pay to be commensurate with experience.


    • Answer multi-line phones using proper telephone etiquette, screen, and forward incoming calls
    • Greet guests, announce arrival to appropriate person, and validate parking
    • Maintain IBP Support Group extension list
    • Receive deliveries, and notify appropriate person. Re-route packages to appropriate branch as needed.
    • Ensure reception area, conference rooms and kitchen are clean and equipped with necessary supplies
    • Communicate cleaning or maintenance issues to IBP Office Manager
    • Inventory supplies and submit weekly supply order to IBP Office Manager
    • Assist with meeting preparations as requested, including scheduling of conference rooms
    • Assist with general administrative tasks as requested (e.g., update spreadsheets, assist with company event planning, processing contractor registrations)
    • Back up receptionist at Edwards Companies as needed
    • All other as tasks assigned by supervisor





    • At least two years of experience in a front desk position, using a multi-line phone system
    • Strong computer skills using Word, Excel and Outlook
    • Professional appearance and attitude
    • Excellent organizational, communication, interpersonal and customer service skills required
    • Fluent verbal & written communication in proper English (Spanish, is a plus)
    • Ability to be a team player and follow detailed instructions
    • Effectively prioritize tasks with the ability to lead multiple tasks without getting flustered
    • Demonstrate dependability and shows a sense of urgency about getting results


    *Position requires a Drug Test and Motor Vehicle Report to be completed, contingent upon employment.
