    Accounts Receivable Clerk - process and manager large volume of account receivables and follow-up on collection accounts. 

    Responsibilities

    • Maintains and updates accounts receivable records
    • Reconciles accounts receivables to General Ledger
    • Communicates with managers,builders, customers to clarify information and to explain the billing process.
    • Manage, track and prepare weekly reports
    • Ability to enter and update data in accounting records accurately
    • Contacts customers to collect payments on past due accounts 
    • Completes other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

     

    • Advanced skills in Microsoft office products including word, and Excel
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent data entry skills
    • 1-3 years of previous receptionist/ administrative assistant experience in construction industry or related field
    • Experience with collections, AR and billing a plus
    • Must be honest, reliable and dependable and have a positive attitude
    • Must be able to work independently or with others in a team environment
    • Able to multitask and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
    • Operate general office equipment for example; fax machine, copier, scanner and etc.
    • Must be able to meet deadlines and prioritized work based on urgency
    • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment

    Physical Demands

    Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Able to lift light to moderate weight, as well as sit for extended periods of time. Experience using a computer.

    Work Environment

    • Works in an office environment and the warehouse.
