What You Can Expect

As an Accounts Receivable Clerk you will process and manage a large volume of account receivables and follow-up on collection accounts.Day-to-day tasks include, but are not limited to:
  • Maintaining and updating accounts receivable records
  • Preparing bills and posts payments to customer accounts
  • Reconciling accounts receivables to General Ledger
  • Communicating with managers, builders, customers to clarify information and to explain the billing process
  • Managing, tracking and preparing weekly reports, by prioritizing to meet deadlines
  • Contacting customers to collect payments on past due accounts

To Be Successful

  • 1-3 years accounts payable or general accounting experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent data entry skills
  • High School Diploma or GED, required
  • Experience with collections, AR and billing a plus

For Your Safety

  • Stand and walk for long periods of time
  • Occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
  • Frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds
