Analyst will assist in the profitably & cost effectiveness of construction projects as it relates to purchasing. Analyst will interact daily with branch personnel and suppliers via email and phone communication. Analyst will submit in a timely manner, complete and accurate Purchase Orders (POs). Analyst will proactively monitor ETA status of POs and secure receivers confirming full delivery of material to specified locations. Analyst will assist in the resolution of PO invoicing discrepancies. Analyst will develop strategic relationships with external suppliers and internal business leaders, drive cost savings initiatives, and implement procurement best practices.

• Process Material Requests and issue POs to vendors, securing all appropriate approvals, pricing, tax exemption certificates, and job cost information, as needed.
• Provide timely communication to operations and production managers relevant to the issuance and status of POs.
• Confer with vendors to obtain product service information such as price, availability, and delivery schedule.
• Accurately reconcile delivery receipts to POs and ensure accurate entry into ERP software.
• Facilitate resolutions to price, quantity, and material discrepancies on PO invoices, engaging vendors as needed, and providing clear communication/guidance to Accounts Payable & Purchasing Teams.
• Assist with monitoring Purchasing KPIs and Exceptions and communicate findings as directed by Supervisor.
• Assist with Vendor Maintenance (setup/reactivation/deactivation) as needed.
