As a Data Processor, you will be responsible for managing and processing customer orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in inventory control. The role involves handling various tasks, including order pricing, LTL order shipment coordination, and addressing customer inquiries. A successful candidate will be detail-oriented, familiar with inventory management systems, and able to collaborate effectively with team members.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Accurately input and process customer orders into the company's database or order management system.
  • Ensure timely and precise handling of all aspects of order processing, from order entry to fulfillment.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the company's inventory system.
  • Regularly update inventory records to reflect stock levels, ensuring accurate availability information.
  • Collaborate with the inventory control team to address discrepancies and implement corrective measures.
  • Coordinate the shipment of LTL orders, ensuring compliance with shipping regulations and customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with logistics and shipping departments to arrange timely and cost-effective deliveries.
  • Verify and correctly price customer orders, ensuring accuracy in product pricing and applicable discounts.
  • Collaborate with sales and finance teams to resolve any pricing discrepancies.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns related to order status, pricing, and shipment.
  • Provide prompt and helpful responses to resolve any issues or problems related to customer orders.
  • Work closely with team members in various departments to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency.
  • Collaborate with coworkers to share insights and best practices for optimizing data processing workflows.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Experience in data processing, order fulfillment, or a similar role.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and order processing software.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
