Hourly Training Rate $13.

  

As a Specialty Installer for Hurricane Fabric at IBP Of Panhandle, you will play a crucial role in helping our customers safeguard their properties during hurricane season. You will be responsible for the proper installation of our hurricane fabric and related storm protection systems. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a commitment to providing top-notch service to our clients.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Install hurricane fabric and storm protection systems according to manufacturer guidelines and industry best practices.
  • Ensure the safety of yourself and your team members while working on job sites.
  • Measure, cut, and fit hurricane fabric to windows, doors, and other openings.
  • Securely fasten hurricane fabric to designated anchors or attachment points.
  • Conduct quality inspections to ensure the installation meets company standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers and clients to address any concerns or questions.
  • Maintain and organize tools, equipment, and materials for each installation.
  • Complete necessary paperwork, including job reports and time sheets.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in construction, carpentry, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work comfortably at heights and in varying weather conditions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing situations.
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites.
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical labor as needed.
