We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team. As a Glaizer Project Manager, you will play a crucial role as the main point of contact for general contractors, architects, engineers, and vendors. Your expertise and leadership will be essential in ensuring projects are executed within budget, completed on schedule, and met the highest quality standards through effective coordination.

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Review all construction documents including but not limited to Drawings, specifications, Schedules, RFI’s, ASI’s, full scope of work, contract verbiage, etc.
  • Start correspondence with GC/ Arch/ Owner with introduction letter and lead time/ Pricing letter (this particular task is highly important more than ever with the constant changing in the world)
  • Maintain project budget sheets throughout the project
  • Issue any RFI’s that may pertain to our scope of work
  • Perform all material take-offs and orders upon approved submittals 
  • Produce all fabrication sheets (cut lists) for the project and coordinate with production
  • Produce SOV for every project and provide monthly billing amounts to the Office Coordinator
  • Produce project closeouts and warranties

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5 years’ experience in the field glazing industry
  • 3 years managing multiple projects of different sizes/ scopes at different stages
  • Ability to manage upwards of $6 million a year
  • Ability to read all aspects of construction documents
  • Proficient with Excel, word, Bluebeam, outlook, GDS/ Partner Pak
  • Drive a car and lift light to moderate weight
  • Use a computer
  • Lift a minimum of 50lbs
  • Climb ladders and scaffolding
