Job Description

                                                                                                  Alpha

 

As a Project Manager, The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of Alpha’s projects, from planning and budgeting to implementation and completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of construction processes and methodologies.

 

 

 Responsibilities: 

  • Plan, direct, and coordinate projects to ensure on-time completion within budget
  • Evaluate drawings and specifications to determine requirements necessary for project success
  • Inspect work in progress to ensure conformity to specifications and schedules
  • Project a positive attitude while establishing effective professional relationships
  • Create and maintain fluid and effective project schedules
  • Communicate and work closely with customers, vendors, and installers
  • Works with local office administration and production teams
  • Proactively handle project issues and/or risks
  • Manage budgets, manpower, expenses, and costs to complete the project
  • Issue and negotiate RFI's and Change Orders

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent education plus work experience in a similar field required
  • 5+ years of experience in progressively responsible installation project management roles
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite – Excel
  • Strong understanding of the commercial and residential installation process 
  • Proficiency in demonstrating proposals and projects
  • Knowledge of building codes
  • Strong math and analytical skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage time well and multitask
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

 

Physical demands

  • Occasional sitting and verbal communication or listening.
  • Frequent manual dexterity required.
  • Regular standing, walking, reaching, climbing, stooping, kneeling, or crawling.
  • Lifting objects up to 10 lbs. regularly, 25 lbs. frequently, and 50 lbs. occasionally.
  • Essential vision abilities include close and distance vision, color perception, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and presenting information effectively.
  • Strong mathematical skills, including probability, statistics, geometry, and practical applications.
  • Regular sitting and manual tasks, with occasional standing, walking, reaching, or climbing.
