We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team in Pawtucket, RI. This is a fully in-person position, ideal for someone with a strong background in construction payroll.

Responsibilities:

• Process and manage payroll for all employees
• Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, including job costing, prevailing wage, and certified payroll reports
• Maintain and update payroll records
• Handle payroll inquiries and resolve any discrepancies
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations
• Prepare and submit certified payroll reports
• Collaborate with HR and accounting departments to ensure accuracy and efficiency

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in construction payroll
• Strong understanding of job costing, prevailing wage, and certified payroll reports
• Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations

Compensation:

• Pay range: $25.00 to $27.00 per hour
• Flexible pay based on experience
