Key Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain a wide variety of residential and commercial garage doors and related components, including springs, cables, rollers, tracks, openers, and safety sensors.
- Conduct thorough inspections of garage door systems to assess conditions and recommend appropriate repair or replacement solutions.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with garage door systems, providing effective and efficient solutions.
- Prform routine maintenance, including lubrication, adjustments, and alignment, to ensure optimal door functionality and longevity.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and service requests in a professional and timely manner.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations, particularly during busy or complex service requests.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for yourself, your team, and our customers.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and customer interactions.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Garage Door Technician or in a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of various garage door models, components, and systems.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing garage door systems.
- Competence in using hand and power tools specific to the garage door industry.
- Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical information to non-technical customers.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in a variety of weather conditions.
