As a Project Manager/Estimator you will oversee all aspects of Contract Mirror & Supply projects, coordinating and completing tasks efficiently. Responsibilities include analyzing drawings, specifications, and addenda; setting deadlines; establishing schedules; procuring materials, tools, and equipment; and monitoring and documenting project progress.

 

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of successful job costing, estimating, and project coordination in the glazing industry or a closely related field (e.g., building materials, construction, or general contracting).
  • Ability to read, understand, and explain architectural plans, elevations, and design takeoffs to identify project requirements, determine scope and dimensions, and develop accurate costing and pricing assumptions.
  • Capable of explaining and communicating plans, proposals, related terms, changes, and rationale to clients, staff, coworkers, subcontractors, and other personnel as needed.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in mathematical, technical, and analytical skills.
  • Strong work ethic with exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Minimum 2 years of estimating experience with aluminum and glass systems, including curtainwall, storefront, window wall, sliding and pivot doors, interior and exterior glass walls, and entrances.
  • Experience in preparing detailed and competitive bids for projects, considering all necessary costs and contingencies.
  • Professional experience with showers, aluminum storefronts, and aluminum curtainwalls.
  • Proven experience developing and interpreting plans, takeoffs, layout, installation, and measurement for commercial and residential glass projects.
  • Strong working knowledge of construction project management standards, practices, and applications.
  • Proficiency with applicable computer systems and software, including but not limited to Microsoft Windows, Office 365, Excel, Word, Bluebeam, and similar project management software.

  • We are seeking a talented individual to expand our Estimating and Project Support Team.
  • The Estimator/Project Coordinator is responsible for overseeing all aspects of assigned projects from start to finish.
  • Under general supervision, this position develops and manages project cost estimates, quotations, installation plans, and presentations; defines and coordinates materials and labor resources to ensure smooth project execution and completion.
  • This role involves consulting with internal and external stakeholders and managing all project tasks and timelines while maintaining the highest levels of service quality and consistency.
  • Develops and prepares detailed cost estimates, pricing quotations, and project plans, and manages the coordination of materials and resources needed for all phases of the projects.
  • Identifies key variables for project planning, estimating, and costing, conducting research as needed to ensure proposals and plans are thorough and comprehensive.
  • Obtains and reviews offers and quotes from subcontractors and vendors as required.
  • Consults with internal and external stakeholders to outline and adjust project plans, assigns tasks, and ensures accuracy in project costs and scope.
  • Identifies project risks, creates contingencies, and takes appropriate actions to manage delays or emergencies at the project site, ensuring compliance with OSHA and safety guidelines.
  • Prepares and presents project status updates and cost tracking in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Builds strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, vendors, subcontractors, suppliers, engineers, and other parties involved.
